Walk Through Mason Neck State Park

Mason Neck State Park
Join hike leader Jim Larocco, AHA member, with another group that will be doing a First Day hike, January 1, at Mason Neck State Park. The hike will begin at the Visitor Center at 10am. There is ample parking and park entrance is free that day.
The group will walk along Belmont Bay to nature trails with lookouts at the bay and marshes, where eagles are nesting and tundra swans are gathering.
The hike will be about 5 miles, but there are bailout points for those who wish to walk less. Jim will point those out.
