Dr. Deirdre Carolan Doerflinger is a dually certified Adult and Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner. She currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at The Catholic University of America and as a Nurse Practitioner, Department of Medicine, Geriatrics, at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Join us for this presentation to hear Dr. Doerflinger provide an overview of the types of dementia and the salient interventions for each. She will also address the challenges presented by the person with dementia.
