DC’s Beacon newspaper has a nice article on villages in its January issue. Did you know there are about seventy-five (75) villages in the Greater Washington DC area? Villages work together to share ideas and resources. All thirteen villages in Washington DC have teamed up to become more efficient, creating DC Villages Collaborative (DCVC). Maryland villages can get funding from the state through six grants. Read about this and more in the full article in the January 4, 2024, DC Edition of the Beacon.

Find out more specifics about the process in the “Getting Member Input – How are We Doing?” article in the newsletter.
