Make a difference in the lives of your Alexandria neighbors
Help Older Adults Stay Connected, Engaged, and Independent
At Home in Alexandria (AHA) helps older adults remain independent in their own homes and neighborhoods, enjoying the people and places that hold meaning to them while continuing to be involved in their community.
AHA is part of the Village movement, a grassroots network of community-based, nonprofit organizations that help older adults age in place. Trained volunteers provide practical assistance, social opportunities, and connections to trusted community resources. A ride to a medical appointment, help with a household task, or a friendly call can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Your gift helps make these connections possible.
Every gift makes a difference
Membership dues cover only a portion of AHA’s operating expenses. Donations help sustain the services and programs that allow AHA to be there for members when they need us.
Your support helps AHA:
- Connect older adults with practical assistance and trusted community resources.
- Create opportunities for friendship, social connection, and meaningful engagement.
- Help members remain independent in their own homes and neighborhoods for as long as possible.
- Strengthen the spirt of neighbors helping neighbors throughout Alexandria.
Together, we help make Alexandria a place where older adults continue to thrive.
