The Biden Administration and the Israel-Hamas War: Challenges and Consequences

Date/Time
Date(s) - 11/09/2023
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The current Israeli-Hamas War in the Middle East presents huge challenges for the Biden Administration and the United States. Along with the ongoing war in Ukraine, a dysfunctional and fiercely polarized political system at home, and geopolitical threats to U.S. influence and its interests abroad, the consequences are enormous.

Join Northwest Neighbors Village to hear Aaron David Miller, Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a former State Department Middle East analyst and negotiator in Republican and Democratic Administrations. He is a CNN Global Affairs Analyst and the author of 5 books including his most recent, The End of Greatness: Why America Can’t Have (and Doesn’t Want) Another Great President. Between 1988 and 2003, Miller served six secretaries of state as an advisor on Arab-Israeli negotiations, participating in American efforts to broker agreements between Israel, Jordan, Syria, and the Palestinians.

We thank Northwest Neighbors Village for opening up this event to AHA members and volunteers.

Register HERE by November 8 or to the AHA office: AHA@AtHomeInAlexandria.org or 703-231-0824. Northwest Neighbors Village will send the Zoom link to registrants.
