Conversations with…Helen Desfosses on 2018 Mid-Terms
Date(s) - 11/18/2018
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
On Sunday, November 18, 3-5pm, there will be a “Conversation with….Dr. Helen Desfosses” on “The 2018 Midterm Elections: What Happened?!” at Alexandria House, 400 Madison Street in Alexandria in the home of Barbara Rosenfeld, Apt 1002. Desfosses will discuss the ways in which the 2018 elections exemplified what usually happens in a non-presidential year, and the ways in which this was truly a roller-coaster, knock-’em, sock-’em election season with many tantalizing–and some surprising– implications for 2020. In addition to serving as an AHA Board Member, Helen is a retired professor of public administration and policy at SUNY-Albany, and a retired elected official. For the past few years, she has taught many courses on contemporary politics at OLLI, the Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning, at George Mason University.
Please RSVP below or by phone to AHA by November 15. Space is limited.
