A Conversation With Councilman Mo Seifeldein

Please join us for a conversation with Mohamed E. “Mo” Seifeldein, Councilman of the City of Alexandria. He was elected on November 6, 2018, to serve a three-year term on City Council from 2019 through 2021. He is the first Sudanese immigrant to serve on City Council. Before his election, Mo worked as a court-appointed-attorney and volunteered with local legal aid services to help indigent clients in the community. He is a litigation attorney and was exposed to the highest level of international human rights law at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia through an externship. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Old Dominion University and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.
