AHA Cancels all In-Person Gatherings for September
After careful consideration, AHA has made the decision to cancel our in-person gatherings for September. This includes our 10th anniversary celebration on September 8. We’re disappointed to have to do this. Seeing that Alexandria has now moved into the “high transmission” zone (100+ cases of COVID per 100,000 people), there are strong indications that breakthrough COVID cases continue to trend in the wrong direction. For the time being, it’s better that we err on the side of caution. AHA is keeping a daily watch on the local situation (as we know you are doing too) and we will remain in touch with the Alexandria Health Dept. about COVID-related news.
