“A Prescription to Managing Your Health” Seminars Continue
AHA and Goodwin House at Home have partnered again this year for a series of interactive lectures on being a more well-informed consumer of health care. The programs will be held at Goodwin House Baileys Crossroads at 3440 S. Jefferson Street, Falls Church from 10am-11:30pm. While the first session was held May 3, the series continues on May 17 with “Who’s Got Your Back,” which will focus on the importance and role of a health advocate. Presenters will include a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, RN, and Aging Life Care Professional. The series will conclude on June 7 with “Your Hospital Stay and Beyond,” with James Meehan, Director of Case Management for Virginia Hospital Center, explaining the hospital admission and discharge processes.
